Overview

On June 26, 2025, SFGATE hosted the 2025 SFGATE Best of Bay Area Celebration at the Chase Center where 800 Bay Area business owners awaited the reveal of the Best of their respective business category.

My Role

Supporting the program’s lead designer, I put together all the signage, promotional items and helped lead the live visuals featured on the main screen where audio and video cues were orchestrated.

Social Media Video Ad

Created by utilizing footage from the 2024 event to help promote ticket sales. I curated the videos, music, and added the branded graphics. Uploaded across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube as paid media advertising to help contribute to the 800+ ticket sales.

Live Event SFGATE Sizzle Reels

Prior to the live reveal of the award winners, a 5-minute sizzle reel was presented to provide context to the Best of Bay Area 2025 program and SFGATE. I collaborated with videographers to gather a variety of b-roll and screenshots for the edit. I compiled the videos, added branded graphics and captions. After the videos conclude, the award results were displayed throughout the Chase Center led boards

Award Winners Reveal Slideshow

My colleague / lead designer for this program created the Award Winners Reveal Slideshow. It would loop for the remaining 2 hours of the event on the Chase Center jumbotron for small business owners to celebrate their achei

SFGATE Best of Bay Area 2025 Event Recap Video

A week after the event concluded, I collaborated with the event videographers’ final edit and added branded graphics for the final recap video.

Award Certificates & Plaques

For the 600+ Winners and Finalists, all small businesses enrolled in the program received framed certificates. I created a design template and formatted all 600+ small businesses. Upon request, small businesses can receive a 8in round acrylic award plaque.
